Collection of rare Maori letters being put online

A collection of rare Maori letters written before and during the New Zealand wars is to be put online. Taranaki iwi have been working with the Alexander Turnbull Library in Wellington to understand the historical context of the 250 fragile letters before they become widely available to the public.
