US Embassies remain closed due to terrorist threat

US embassies throughout the Middle East and North Africa may remain closed in the coming days as authorities look to foil suspected al Qaeda plots. In an unprecedented move, 22 US embassies and consulates were closed on Sunday as the threat from al Qaeda became apparent.
