Scientists says poor student results cause for concern

Scientists are worried poor performance in maths and science is costing students opportunities for high paying jobs. The Government has repeatedly said the key to securing more high paying jobs in New Zealand is better performance in the so-called STEM subjects - science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
