Asbestos and bad weather delay freight

A trucking lobby group says a combination of bad weather and KiwiRail locomotives being taken out of service is causing problems for freight companies. KiwiRail pulled 40 engines out of service after it discovered asbestos had been sprayed on parts of the locomotives while the recent bad weather has caused ferry cancellations.
