More high-value mortgages expected

It will soon be easier for people with a small deposit to get a mortgage. Banks have had to follow Reserve Bank rules limiting low deposit loans for the past six months. They have been very cautious but economists now say they will increase the number of loans given to people with a less than 20 per cent deposit.
