Lyttleton Port logistics workers vote for further strikes

From Morning Report, 7:53 am on 30 April 2014

Logistics staff at the Lyttleton Port voted last night to extend a one-off planned strike to include multiple stoppages over a period of weeks. The eleven staff, who are members of the Rail and Maritime Transport Union, had already voted for a walkout on Friday night but that will now be extended after discussions with the port broke down yesterday.
