Two tribes have scored a legal victory over the Tuhoe Treaty settlement legislation; The Kohanga Reo National Trust says there's now no reason for the government to put off addressing a string of recommendations made by the Waitangi Tribunal; An iwi collective believes giving the Rotorua District Council more land could be an interim solution to the problem of where the city can dispose of treated wastewater; The Hamilton City Council wants the Waikato River to become a central attraction, which a Maori trust supports and says it's about time.
