Musical Chairs - Jeremy Taylor

In Musical Chairs this week we meet singer and songwriter Jeremy Taylor. Taylor's musical career started in the 1990's with Christchurch band Throw, whose indie-tinged guitar rock and inventive videos gained critical support. Taylor then started his own band, the Britpop-inspired Cinematic, in which he was the sole songwriter. His first solo album Black Balloons, due out soon, was written over a period of several years and in several cities as Taylor left his home base in Christchurch for London, and then Wellington.
