Brassy rockers Quincy Conserve were New Zealand's answer to Blood, Sweat & Tears, or Chicago and while they never had a chart hit from their three albums and string of singles they were consistent crowd pullers wherever they played. Episode one covers the formation of the band through to completion of second album Epitaph when it looked like it was all over. But within a month the Downtown Club owners were wondering where their crowd went and band leader Malcolm Hayman was asked to get the boys back together.
