A working sawmill up until 1994, the Leigh Sawmill Cafe is now a beautiful historic venue where top acts from NZ and abroad perform weekly. Anthonie Tonnon takes us there.

The Leigh Sawmill Cafe has benefited from the growing summer traffic north of Auckland and has seen the likes of Fat Freddy's Drop and Justin Townes Earle perform there.

In this episode of Stages - a series about live music venues - Anthonie Tonnon takes us to the Leigh Sawmill Cafe to see the Hipstamatics and Sal Valentine and the Babyshakes for a show titled Lawless in Leigh - II.
