Hear an interview with and live performance from Fanfare Ciocarlia - a twelve piece Gypsy Brass band from north-east Romania. Their repertoire of Balkan Brass traditions delivered at breakneck speed has helped promote the spirit of Gypsy music to appreciative audiences wherever they play.

Recorded live on the Brooklands Stage by Radio NZ, mixed by Graham Kennedy.

Also highlights from the performance of ensemble Puerto Flamenco from Seville, who brought the theatre and passion of authentic Spanish Flamenco music and dance to Womad Taranaki.

Recorded live on the Brooklands Stage by Radio NZ, mixed by Simon Gooding.

Programme produced and presented by Trevor Reekie, engineer Jeremy Ansell, executive producer John Pilley.
