Nine musicians play a mix of gypsy, klezmer and country. Expect banjos, accordions, trumpets and lap-steels for this Euro-blend. Delaney Davidson is a musician who's been living in Switzerland for most of this decade, playing as the drummer for The Dead Brothers. That band was part of a musical movement called Swiss Primitive - a sound harking back to raw, garage rock of the 60s. Delaney's back at home in New Zealand, indulging his own song writing a bit more. Kirsten Johnstone of Music 101 got him into the studio with his nine-piece Rough Diamond Ghost Orchestra. Recorded by Troy Kelly at STL Studio, Wellington for Radio New Zealand.
