Musical Chairs featuring Tim Prebble

Tim Prebble is a sound designer for film and TV. He's the guy who gets to make monster growls, lazer gun bleeps, the sound of the trees blowing in the wind, waves crashing on the beach- he's partly responsible for bringing you the sounds of the cinema. He's worked on most major film productions made in New Zealand, with credits including The World's Fastest Indian, The Frighteners, Stickmen and The Locals. Kirsten Johnstone visited his Wellington studio to find out more about Tim's world of sound.
