The Whipping Cats are an Auckland three piece who've been at the epi-centre of the thriving NZ indie scene for a few years now. Vincent, Straton, and Chanel have a reputation as one of the wildest live acts round, with their blend of danceable, harmonica lead swamp blues. Now they've released an album- and disbanded. Kirsten Johnstone caught up with lone whipping cat and lead howler Vincent Lum to get the low down.
