Sam Wicks had a tough time tracking down Tricky to talk to him about his new album Mixed Race. Fourth time lucky - Tricky finally took the call in the middle of the night, just minutes after The Naked And Famous - a band who took their name from Tricky's song 'Tricky Kid' - won the APRA Silver Scroll 2010. On a sketchy line to Paris, Sam talked to the Knowles West, Bristol native about the genetics of Mixed Race, and how the lyrics of 'Tricky Kid' - released 14 years earlier - first mapped a branch of his family tree.
