New London voice Jamie Woon has an impressive pedigree - his mother, folk singer Mae McKenna, has backed pop greats like Michael Jackson and Kylie Minogue. Jamie was classmates with Amy Winehouse at the BRIT school, a performing arts institution that has schooled the likes of Adele, Imogen Heap and Jessie J. Woon has carved his own lane by matching confessional soul with haunted, multi-tracked pop that owes as much to dubstep as it does a new generation of American r'n'b artists. Jamie Woon tells Sam Wicks about joining the dots between Thom Yorke, Burial and Drake.
