New Order, the band that formed out of Joy Division after the death of Ian Curtis, play a catalogue-spanning show at Auckland's Vector Arena, February 2012. But this time without original member Peter Hook, whose signature melodic bass playing underpinned the sounds of both bands. Sam Wicks caught frontman Bernard Sumner at his home south of Manchester and asked him about being a down a player for their latest tour, and New Order's first New Zealand show 30 years ago.
