Like the music they play, Louisiana's Lil Band O' Gold is made up of a unique mix of musicians ranging from the 75 year old drummer Warren Storm to the much-younger singer/guitarist C.C. Adcock. They call the music that they play "swamp-pop". It's a combination of RnB, Cajun, zydeco, 50s rock n roll and any number of other styles you can think of. The album 'Plays Fats' is exactly as advertised. The band pick through the Fats Domino catalogue coming up with their own versions of classic tunes like Ain't That A Shame, Blue Monday and I'm Walking. Marty Duda spoke to C.C. Adcock.
