Nick Lowe has been making music since the late 1960s, first as a pub-rock pioneer with Brinsley Schwartz, then as a punk performer and producer for Stiff Records in the late 70s, a power-pop hitmaker in the 80s and in the 90s he was making his own brand of Americana. Now, with his album 'The Old Magic' Nick Lowe sounds like he has reverted back to the pre-rock and roll music of the 1950s. Marty Duda spoke to the musical chameleon about this latest venture.
