A couple of years back, The Wire magazine's David Keenan coined the term Hpnagogic pop - to describe artists that blend and stretch the sounds you might have heard on rock radio, mtv, and blockbuster movies in the 80s, into curious dreamscapes and textured sound collages. One such artist, Estonia's Maria Minerva, is currently playing shows in New Zealand. Emma Smith spoke with her.
