Opensouls 2006 debut Kaleidoscope was just that - a kaleidoscopic-take on the funk, soul and hip hop influences the players from this Auckland collective brought to the table. For album number two, the focus has been narrowed down courtesy of a mixtape Opensoul guitarist Jeremy Toy made for his band mates. Sam Wicks talks to Jeremy - plus Opensouls' Tyra Hammond and Julien Dyne - about Standing in the Rain.
