El Schlong are a New Zealand band full of surprises. They fluctuate through metal and rock mutations in a zappa-esq fashion, all three members sing and growl, and they've just travelled half way across the world to record their second album, at home. Emma Smith spoke with guitarist and principal songwriter Leah Hinton.
