Critics Choice Prize 2012

As well as prestige, the Critic's Choice Prize - designed to identify up and coming local music talent - and potential future award winners - includes a $10,000 NZ on Air grant, $2,000 credit at the Rock Shop and a fistful of music industry mentoring. In October 2012 three finalists: Beach Pigs, Loui The Zu and Watercolours duked it out on stage at The Kings Arms in Auckland, hoping to capture the votes of the panel of 13 music critics in attendance.
