The Auricle is a gallery in Christchurch dedicated to the sonic arts. Run by members of the Cantabrian Society for Sonic Artists, one of the Society's Rules of Incorporation is to encourage more women to actively engage in sound/music. As part of this, Misfit Mod has been running a series of workshops designed to promote a supportive, fun and accessible environment for women wanting to learn more about starting their own electronic music practice.
