11:06 Beale Street Caravan

This week the Sounds of Memphis come from the Sons of Mudboy, an outfit that includes Luther Dickinson, the son of Jim Dickinson. In 1979 Jim produced an album "Beale Street Saturday Night" which has just been re-released, so the Sons of Mudboy and Shangri-La Records had a celebratory party that the Caravan crew were on hand to record. Also there's another in the series, The Memphis Beat from David Less, this time he talks about jazz players in the city.
