Spy To Sky Telescope

NASA Watch editor and astrobiologist Keith Cowing raises an eyebrow at an awkward if not welcome "gift" of two spy-built telescopes to NASA, particularly as the American space agency bravely struggles with an ever shrinking budget and with Hubble already past its decommission date - yet even if the funds became available to also get these telescopes called NRO-1 and NRO-2 into space, what would they be looking for?
