Former Prime Minister and director general of the World Trade Organization, Mike Moore, is now bound for Washington DC as New Zealand's new ambassador.
He will continue the push for what he and many other see as the holy grail of a free trade agreement with the United States, but before that can happen he'll be involved in negotiations for the US to join the Trans Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership (TPP) - a free trade agreement between New Zealand, Brunei, Chile and Singapore.

Andrea Levy began writing when she was in her mid-thirties and draws on her experience of growing up black in what she says was still a very white England. Although born in London, her parents migrated to England from Jamaica. She says she has a complex perspective on the land of her birth. Her latest book The Long Song is set in early 19th century Jamaica during the last years of slavery and the period immediately after emancipation.

Daniel Pink graduated from Yale Law School but says to his lasting joy, he has never practiced law. He also spent two year as chief speechwriter to Vice President Al Gore. But now he's a free agent and author of bestselling books, including Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us; A Whole New Mind: Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Future; and The Adventures of Johnny Bunko :The Last Career Guide You'll Ever Need. Daniel Pink's articles on business and technology appear in many publications, including the New York Times and the Harvard Business Review.
