Richard Nunns is an expert in Taonga Puoro, traditional Maori musical instruments. He is a Pakeha who has spent some 30 years researching Taonga Puoro. He has received numerous awards and honours - including in 2009 being made an Arts Foundation Laureate, QSM and included in NZ Music Hall of Fame - for his craft.

In He Ara Pūoro (A Pathway of Song) - a collaboration between Richard Nunns and Radio New Zealand - Richard plays and describes the many traditional Māori instruments in his collection.

American businessman and blind adventurer Mike May was totally blinded at age three from an explosion of calcium carbide. At the age of 46 he regained partial sight after cornea transplants and pioneering stem cell procedure. He runs the Sendero Group which employes many blind people and assists those with disabilities by using technology.
