Although they only existed for approximately a year and a half, Toy Love were one of New Zealand's most important and influential bands. They are scheduled to be presented with a Legacy Award at this year's New Zealand Music Awards coming up on Thursday, 1 November. The band was formed from the remnants of The Enemy and featured Chis Knox as the front man and song writer. In conjunction with their awards, Toy Love will be releasing a career-spanning DVD full of rarities and a vinyl LP of their best-known tracks.
