Kathryn Ryan talks with demographer, Paul Spoonley of Massey University about the record numbers of permanent and temporary immigrants to New Zealand this year. He discusses whether immigrants are displacing New Zealanders in the labour market, and whether there is a net benefit to New Zealand. Professor Spoonley is Pro Vice-Chancellor of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Massey University.
