Remembering New Zealand's Antarctic pioneers

Descendants of the 23 pioneers that laid the foundations for Antarctica New Zealand and New Zealand's presence on the frozen continent will gather together this weekend to remember the contribution made by their fathers 60 years ago.

Lynn Freeman talks to David Ellis, whose father was Murray Ellis and has organised the Second Generation Reunion, as well as Graham Ayres who was a boy when his mountaineer father, Harry Ayres, joined Sir Ed Hillary on his polar expedition
