Costings of cutting foreign students 'a lot to lose'

The loss to the economy of government plans to remove work rights for some foreign students has been estimated at $261m per year. It's being described by industry representatives as 'a lot to lose' - with some providers not being able to survive. The Independent Tertiary Education New Zealand chairman is Craig Musson. He is meeting with ministers over the next few weeks and says he's hopeful the government will listen to 'common sense'.
