Ed Stafford - First known person to walk the Amazon

This month Ed Stafford became the first known person in history to walk the entire length of the Amazon River in South America. The 34-year-old former British Army captain and his assistant Cho, who walked with Ed for most of the near two-and-a-half year trek, ran into the sea after a mammoth 85km final day's walking. He charted his journey along the way through a blog and video posts.
