Gendercide and the oppression of women

Sheryl WuDunn is the Co-author of"Half the Sky: How to Change the World"and the first Asian-American to win a Pulitzer Prize in journalism. Global statistics show more girls have been killed in the last 50 years precisely because they were girls, than men killed in all the battles of the entire 20th century. Ms WuDunn believes that the central moral challenge of this century will be the struggle for gender equality around the world.
