26,000 Cantabrians have left the region

Figures from the Electoral Enrolment Centre records just over 71 thousand Canterbury voters have changed their electorates since February 22. The bulk of those have moved within the region but 26,113 voters have left altogether. This migration effects many services and will lead to a loss of jobs in education.
