Joanna Brooks is an outspoken, liberal voice on Mormon life and politics. She has struggled with her faith and now writes about the Church and her own experience for the online magazine Religion Dispatches, and offers advice in her column and blog, Ask Mormon Girl'. The English professor recently self-published her memoir, 'The Book of Mormon Girl: Stories from an American Faith'.
