Ko Awatea health care in Counties Manukau

Ko Awatea is the Centre for Health System Innovation and Improvement for the Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB). It aims to improve health delivery in the community and to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. Geraint Martin is the chief executive of Counties Manukau District Health board and one of the driving forces behind Ko Awatea, which has been established now for one year.
