Janet Askew - a life of nursing

New Zealand nurse Janet Askew has worked with the Red Cross in the Sudanese Darfur, Cambodia, Indonesia and Iraq. Next week she takes a new posting in the Lebanon dealing with the trauma facing Syrian refugees fleeing their country's domestic conflict. Janet is no stranger to armed conflict, or natural disaster, and is the recipient of nursing's highest accolade, The Florence Nightingale Medal, which recognises her exceptional valour and devotion.
