Tim Cope is an Australian adventurer, author, filmmaker, trekking guide, and public speaker who grew up in Gippsland, Victoria. He was inspired by the ancient Mongol leader Genghis Khan to undertake a three year lone journey on horseback from Mongolia to the Danube River in Hungary, across the Eurasian Steppe.
