Burial practices in the Cardamom Mountains

From Nine To Noon

Around 600 years ago, highlanders living in the remote Cardamom Mountains placed the bones of their dead in large ceramic jars on steep ledges or in small wooden coffins - a practice unique to the south east Asian country.
