Music teacher, jazz educator, trombonist and big band leader, Rodger Fox has always been surrounded by music.

Both his parents taught and played, but his ideas of a classical career were derailed after he joined a 60s rock band in Wellington.

The Rodger Fox Big Band has recently been invited to perform at the prestigious Monterey Jazz Festival and is currently trying to raise funds via a boosted campaign
