In the meantime we take a squiz at some examples of those advances. That's courtesy of international company Squiz, who've engineered what's called a web content management system - MySource Matrix. It's used by government ministries and departments, local authorities, universities, publishers and many others, to create and manage web content across a range of internet sites. And they're tackling the challenge of making all of that user friendly to blind and visually impaired people. That means making sure that all text and visual cues can be translated into audio through scanners and screenreaders.
