This week on One in Five we meet Jolt Dance, a Christchurch performance group that offers people with a disability a creative voice.

Members of the company's younger group, Jolt Youth, are performing their show "Walk" at at this year's Body Festival. This particular production explores the history of walking, through the media of film, dance and physical theatre. More generally, Jolt aims to challenge perspectives about disability and to celebrate the unique qualities of each dancer by creating original works.

Katy Gosset  dropped in on a rehearsal for "Walk" which is currently being performed at the Ferrymead Heritage Park.
