Dunedin has finally got out of the doldrums economically – it’s growing for the first time in a decade and is in the grip of a housing boom.

Southland hopes to follow suit. The headline goal of its first major redevelopment strategy is to attract 10,000 more people to settle in the province.

On the panel:

Virginia Nicholls, Chief Executive of the Otago Southland Employers' Association
Norcombe Barker, Director of one of Dunedin’s largest paying tourist attractions, Larnach Castle
Tim Cadogan, Newly elected Mayor of Central Otago
