Glen Campbell died on Tuesday aged 81. During his 50 years in showbiz, Glen released nearly 80 albums of which 12 were certified gold and he sold 45 million records. Most people know Glen through his solo career and the long string of hits. However, he was also a star guitarist in the famous LA session band, The Wrecking Crew and joined them in 1961 (in 1963 he played on nearly 600 songs, including the Byrds' "Mr. Tambourine Man," Elvis Presley's "Viva Las Vegas" and the Righteous Brothers' "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling." In 2014, Bruce Springsteen said: ""He had a beautiful singing voice, pure tone. And it was never fancy. Wasn't singing all over the place. It was simple on the surface but there was a world of emotion underneath."
