Book lovers Sarah Forster and Jane Arthur are determined to get people talking more about children's literature. They're in the last stages of setting up an online magazine - The Sapling - all about books written for Kiwi kids and teens.
Creative New Zealand has chipped in some of the money needed to get things rolling. While it will be free to check out, The Sapling will pay contributors for essays, interviews and reviews.
Lynn Freeman met Sarah to find out more about the project, as work's done to the finishing touches for the website.
