Black Dogs

Our unenlightened forebears had some strange superstitions regarding animals, including ones about black dogs: "It's good luck if a black dog follows you at home, but bad luck if it follows you on the road." If you are slightly superstitious the Auckland City Council says that adopting a shelter dog is a recommended antidote to Black Friday, by allowing you to turn around the luck of a lost dog. Jesse talks to Tracey Moore, Manager of the city council's Animal Management.
