Lower speed ticket limits could be making roads more dangerous

Strict holiday speed limits could inadvertently be making drivers more stressed, reducing their ability to spot hazards, and making the roads more dangerous. Recent research at the University of Western Australia has found that when the official tolerance for speeding decreases, drivers' peripheral vision declines, their stress levels go up, and driving becomes more difficult.
