In Ideas this week we take another look at water and, in particular, household supply and the contentious issues of water meters and privatisation. A recent report commissioned by the British Government has recommended a move away from paying for water based on rateable value and suggested that water meters should be installed in as many as 80 percent of British homes by 2020. We hear from the author of the report, Anna Walker, and we talk Maria McMillan of Right to Water and Peter Whitehouse of Water New Zealand about the situation in New Zealand.
