In his field of research, in which he has published numerous works, Dominique Wolton focuses on analyses of relationships between culture, communication, society and politics. To follow his considerable output on the media, political communication, Europe and the Internet, he is now researching the political and cultural consequences of globalisation in information and communication. He believes that information and communication are one of the major political issues of the 21st century, and that developing cultural cohabitation is a prerequisite for the 3rd wave of globalisation.
